Journey
Kenny Haiti, born Kenny Sinvil on June 26, 1990, in Saint-Marc, Haiti, is a prominent Haitian-American singer-songwriter who has carved out a unique space in modern Caribbean urban music. Raised solely by his mother after the death of his father during his infancy, Kenny relocated to Florida in 2007 to join her. Although his initial goal in the United States was to pursue a professional basketball career, age constraints prompted him to pivot, briefly considering law enforcement before fully dedicating his life to music.
Kenny’s sound stands out for its seamless integration of classic Haitian Konpa and Zouk rhythms with contemporary Afrobeat, rap, and modern Creole pop. He gained widespread recognition across the global Haitian diaspora through a string of emotional, danceable singles including "Pour Elle", "Sim Te Konnen", and "Sa Fèm Mal". His 2024 album release, “Time To Shine,” further solidified his position in the industry, delivering hit collaborations such as "Pi Bon Chwa" alongside Richard Cave and "Bif" featuring Mickael Guirand.
Beyond the recording studio, Kenny is an active entrepreneur who launched Krezi Mayo, a lifestyle apparel line reflecting his personal aesthetic and cultural pride. An avid soccer fan who supports FC Barcelona, Kenny continues to perform internationally, serving as a vital voice for the new generation of Haitian pop artists.
